Robinson: Alan had my back in tough spell

STEPHEN ROBINSON admits he'll forever by grateful for the backing of Alan Burrows during his darkest days as a boss.

St Mirren manager Robinson revealed the Aberdeen chief executive was a tower of strength for him in their days together at Motherwell.

And never more so when Burrows urged him not to pack it in at Fir Park by offering him a month off in December 2020.

“He was very good to me and my family, along with Jim McMahon. Alan lets you do your job. He doesn't try to interfere.
