Couple want stricter rules on older drivers
THE parents of a toddler killed by a 91-year-old driver with dementia have spoken of their grief for the first time.
Three-year-old Xander Irvine suffered catastrophic injuries while with his mum, Victoria, in Edinburgh on June 30, 2020. He was hit by a Kia Picanto being driven by Edith Duncan on the city's Morningside Road.
Victoria and Paul Irvine have told how their whole life was "ripped away" from them in a single day.
