TWO North Sea oil fields will have to face beefed-up environmental tests before they are approved after new guidance was introduced to the sector.
New UK Government rules mean the Rosebank and Jackdaw sites will have to pass climate impact assessments which include tests on emissions from burning gas and oil, rather than just those from production.
