The 2-0 win could go a long way to fulfilling new investor Tony Bloom's challenge of splitting the Old Firm.

But there are already excited Gorgie fans dreaming of going even further having taken 13 points from the first 15 available.

Goal hero Shankland, however, is wary of getting carried away having seen Aberdeen get off to a similar start last term before fading away.
