Jules' message to new patient tsar

A VICTIM of butcher surgeon Sam Eljamel has urged Scotland's first patient safety tsar to ensure the scandal is a “never again’ event.

Campaigner Jules Rose endured a botched op at the hands of the disgraced Tayside neurosurgeon, who is believed to have operated on about 4000 people as head of neurosurgery at Ninewells hospital.

Hundreds of cases are now being probed by cops.

The mum, who discovered Eljamel had removed her tear gland instead of a tumour on her brain, held a summit with Karen Titchener just weeks after she was appointed Patient Safety Commissioner.
