A KILLER who carried out a “napalm” attack on a man has been jailed for at least 20 years.

Gavin Gallagher hurled a mixture of boiling water and sugar over Stephen Gray, 23, before fatally stabbing him in the heart.

He claimed he had acted in self-defence, saying he was in “flight or fight” mode at the time of the incident in Govan, Glasgow, on November 3, 2023.

The 34-year-old was yesterday jailed for life by judge Lord Mulholland. He had earlier been found guilty of murder at the High Court in Glasgow.
