SETTLED Matty Foulds

The St Johnstone defender bailed out of Como just three months into a two-year contract in 2020/21.

Foulds moved to picturesque northern Italy after being released by Everton. But hardline Covid restrictions made life miserable for partner Georgia and son Theo.

They returned to England and Foulds played for boyhood heroes Bradford, so missed out on a promotion to Serie B that season.

Como haven't stopped soaring and are now eighth in the top flight.

But Foulds, who also had aspell at Harrogate, is now perfectly settled in Perth with two more kids - daughters Olive, three, and one-year-old Alba ~ and aiming high with Saints.
