NOTHING says summer more than a spot of schadenfreude as the Tartan Army relish in watching England lose to Germany.
When the Three Lions get mauled by the Germans it usually results in their exit from a major tournament but England's Under-21s limped into the quarter-finals of the Euros despite crashing to a 2-1 defeat earlier this week.
That loss was even more galling for Lee Carsley given Germany rested some of their top players, including tournament top scorer Nick Woltemade, having already reached the last eight.
Carsley’s side haven't been playing like defending champions and they now have a tough tie against Spain today.
