Jaxx, 9, is honoured with lorry licence plate for his kindness

CARING binmen have swapped their lorry licence plate in honour of an autistic schoolboy who bakes them sweet treats every week.

Since May, Jaxx Robertson, who also has ADHD, has developed a bond with the crew who collect his street's rubbish on Wednesdays.

Their friendship with the nine-year-old has now gone viral online after the cleansing workers unveiled a personalised plate on their truck, reading NO1 JAXX.

The gesture moved his mum Lucy Gallacher, 37, and two million people online.

In a clip shared on social media, the binmen pull up outside his home and Jaxx, wearing a hi-vis vest with “bin man” on the back, runs out to hand over his batch of goodies.

But this time the workers led him to the front of the truck where the new plate is fixed.
