ALEXANDROS KYZIRIDIS insists Hearts aren't feeling even a shred of title pressure as he laps up the best week of his life.

- BY CRAIG SWAN

On the park, there was another scintillating spell for the Greek with his superb goal helping to sink champions Celtic and move Derek McInnes' team eight points clear in the flag flight.

Off the field, it has also been a special time with Kyziridis and his wife welcoming new son Charalambos into the world just four days before the top-of-the-table shootout on Sunday.

There's no talk or dreaming of titles from anyone around Hearts at this point.

As Kyziridis said himself, dreaming is only for folk when “you're sleeping.” And, given the new arrival into the household, he's not going to get much of that anyway in the coming weeks.

He was fine for Celtic, though, as he said: “Yeah, I sleep well, thanks to my wife. She was looking after him. So I could sleep, and I sleep well. Thanks for her.”

He was wide awake against the champions and took advantage of their dozy defending to unleash his fizzer which restored Hearts' lead in the second period and set them on their way again to win.

For Kyziridis, it just sealed those memorable few days and he confessed: “It was a hard week, to be honest. But it was by far the best week of my life. As I posted also on Wednesday, on the 23rd, my son has arrived already. Yeah, I'm so happy. I can't imagine.

“It was hard for me (preparation for game). But I need to get used to it. All good.”
