EU signs off £78bn for Ukraine

UKRAINIAN president Volodymyr Zelensky has thanked EU leaders after the European Council agreed to provide his country with £78.8billion.

The interest-free loan will support Ukraine's military and economic needs ‘over the next two years, The EU estimates its ally will need an extra £118.8billion to stay afloat during that time.
