'Edited out' after MasterChef plea

Contestant called for new series not to be aired after presenters scandal

A MASTERCHEF contestant says she has been edited out of the new series after objecting to it airing over allegations against Gregg Wallace and John Torode.

Sarah Shafi said she told bosses that broadcasting it would send the wrong message about the treatment of women.

Wallace and Torode, both 60, have been sacked from MasterChef after law firm Lewis Silkin upheld 45 out of 85 complaints against Wallace of inappropriate behaviour.
