Catching a break

GOOD Samaritan time this week - my friend was on his way back from the shops driving past a local loch.

We fish to get away from it all but sometimes we need other anglers

Obviously he was looking out the window to inspect how the fishing was looking - I don't know what we expect to see at 30mph from the roadside but we all do it.

At the top of the loch he got flagged down by a fella whose boat had cut out and was in need of a hand.

The wind had picked up and was blowing straight up from the boat house to the top end so he couldn't have been any farther from his car.

Facing a very long row into the wind, he wanted to know if there was an easier path to trudge back down.
