Vile beast's sex attacks on women at knifepoint

A FIEND who carried out knifepoint sex attacks on five women has been branded a “calculating and violent predator” by police.

Alexander Steven, 52, was found guilty yesterday of the horrifying attacks in a two-year period at flats in Dundee.

Detectives began an investigation into Steven in January 2023 after a woman came forward saying he had raped her. Four other victims were traced.

Steven's first victim told the High Court in Edinburgh she had come to Dundee after breaking up with a boyfriend in London.
