Strike over false claims of Kyiv targeting home kills 4, injurés 25

RUSSIA unleashed a wave of almost 300 airstrikes against Ukraine overnight including its new hypersonic missile and deadly drones.

Four people died and at least 25 were injured in Kyiv in one of the capital’s most terrifying nights since war broke out.

Russia claimed the strike was revenge for a drone attack targeting Vladimir Putin's residence in late December which Kyiv and Washington have branded a lie.

Yesterday's overnight attacks left many in Kyiv facing potentially deadly outages, cutting off electricity and heating in bitter temperatures plummeting to -10C.
