The revival of city's sprawling industrial park

Parc Bryn Llwyd in Bangor, has undergone a year-long refurbishment programme

AN industrial site near the centre of Bangor has undergone a major revival after being sold.

The Daily Post revealed in 2022 that the Denis Ferranti site had been placed on the market with agents Dafydd Hardy by the aerospace parts company.

They had been at the location off Caernarfon Road since 1951 and it once employed around 1,000 people in engineering and manufacturing at its peak.

It was sold to the Bearmont Group in 2024 with Denis Ferranti retaining a presence on the site in a lease deal.

Bearmont say the site - renamed Parc Bryn Llwyd - has undergone a yearlong programme of refurbishment and infrastructure investment to turn it into a modern, multi-use employment and leisure destination.
