Next title win is close, predicts Jordan

GOLF In-form Englishman Jordan Smith believes he is “very close” to claiming his third title as the Austrian Alpine Open returns to the DP World Tour schedule for the first time since 2021.

Smith finished just a shot behind Wu Ashun in last month's Volvo China Open and has finished seventh and fourth in his last two starts, as well as coming out on top US Open qualifying to book his place at Oakmont next month.

“Everything has just got slightly better,” Smith said of his impressive run of form.
