Free agents offer Red Dragons chance to strengthen further
Daily Post

Wrexham welcomed 13 new players during the summer transfer window, splashing out a huge sum of £33million.
The Red Dragons added three more signings to their ranks on deadline day as the window closed on Monday. Midfielder Ben Sheaf was snapped up from Coventry City for a reported fee of £6.5m, while Blackburn Rovers defender Dominic Hyam was secured in a deal valued at £2.7m.
The Hollywood-backed club also sealed a season-long loan for Manchester City wing-back Issa Kabore. The window's closure marked the end of a hectic period for manager Phil Parkinson, but Wrexham may still conduct further business.
The Championship newcomers announced on Thursday that they have registered 24 players for this season, leaving room for a potential free agent signing. Notably absent from the list were several names, including Wales goalkeeper Danny Ward, who is set for a prolonged stint on the sidelines after sustaining an elbow injury against Millwall last weekend.
Midfielders Ollie Rathbone and Andy Cannon, along with striker Jay Rodriguez, were also omitted as they contend with injuries. Defender Eoghan O'Connell left Wrexham by mutual consent on Thursday following his exclusion from the squad.
