WITH less than a week to go until the Royal Welsh Winter Fair returns to the Llanelwedd showground, preparations are well under way as the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society prepares to welcome visitors, exhibitors and top-class livestock for a celebration of farming, Welsh produce and Christmas spirit.

The 2025 Winter Fair will be officially opened by Ieuan and Sion Edwards of the renowned Edwards of Conwy.

The opening ceremony will take place at 10am on Monday, November, 24 in Exhibition Hall 1, Main Ring.

Ieuan Edwards, a master butcher and founder of Edwards of Conwy, first opened the doors of his traditional butchers’ shop on Conwy High Street in 1983.

Today, the business is known across Wales and the UK for its unwavering commitment to quality, craftsmanship and local sourcing.
