WREXHAM'S owners have answered their manager's prayers with one new addition made and another imminent.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have already given the green light for Phil Parkinson to make a string of signings this summer.

The Red Dragons are currently looking to build a squad capable of competing in the Championship.

Parkinson expressed hopes earlier this week of bringing in more new faces ahead of their season opener at Southampton on August 9.

Reports have now emerged that Wrexham are very near to completing a double transfer swoop.

According to Sky Sports, they have agreed a £2million fee to sign Wales international striker Kieffer Moore from Sheffield United.

Meanwhile, Wrexham signed Leicester City defender Conor Coady for an undisclosed fee yesterday.

It's understood a deal for Moore could be completed this weekend ahead of the squad flying out to play a friendly in the Netherlands.
