By-election triggered by death of councillor

A BY-ELECTION to fill a Gwynedd council seat following the death of a popular Barmouth councillor and lifeboat crew man is to be held.

The late Councillor Rob Triggs, who was the Cyngor Gwynedd member for the Abermaw ward for the past three years died at the age of 59, two months ago.
The by-election will be held on Thursday, August 21, with the poll being taken between 7am and 10pm.
