Suicide kit seller jailed for 14 years

Two took their lives after buying his £100 packages

A SICK predator who sold suicide substances online which led to two people taking their own lives was yesterday jailed for 14 years.

Miles Cross, 33, set up a business preying on the vulnerable and mentally ill on an internet suicide forum, posting a QR code which allowed people to order a chemical directly from him and pay via his bank account.

Using a pseudonym, he sold four kits at £100 each and sent them the chemical through the post. Two people took their own lives as a result.

When police searched Cross’s home in Wrexham, North Wales, in January 2025, they found the chemical and other paraphernalia. Analysis of his seized devices linked him to the forum, social media profiles and the bank account.
