Race-rant woman 'is to be freed in weeks'

A CHILDMINDER jailed for inciting racial hatred after calling for migrant hotels to be set on fire is expected to be released this month.

Lucy Connolly, 41, was sentenced last October to 31 months for a social media post made in the aftermath of three young girls being murdered in Southport.

It means she will have served 40% of her sentence, which is in line with standard release provisions for nonviolent offenders.
