Emma Bridgewater pleads for Labour to act on bills
THE brains behind popular pottery firm Emma Bridgewater is calling for more help to tackle rising costs.
Dame Emma, below, spoke to the Daily Express after we told how other British ceramic brands were struggling with energy bills and national insurance rises.
They include the Portmeirion Group, which makes Royal Worcester and Spode.
Dame Emma, who like them is based in Stoke-on-Trent, said: "We can’t get to a stage where we can’t make our own plates in this country.
