'Impossible' to keep restaurant open with 100 asylum seekers next door

A RESTAURANT forced to close its doors after more than two decades has blamed the migrant hotel next door.

Asylum seekers have repeatedly damaged the Ceno Bar and Restaurant and made it “impossible to operate”, a spokesman claimed.

Ceno shared a building with Highfield House hotel which is reportedly used to house 100 migrants in Southampton, Hants.

The hotel is the site of weekly anti-immigration protests. These tend to be met with counter-protests from anti-racism groups and there is often a heavy police presence.
