Clusters in the brain show signs of disease

RESEARCHERS have developed a technique to see tiny clusters in the brain believed to trigger Parkinson's disease.

Clumps of proteins in the brain known as Lewy bodies are a sign of the condition.

But some suggest they develop from smaller clusters called alpha-synuclein oligomers.

Scientists looked at postmortem brain tissue from those with the condition and compared it with healthy samples.
