Sex abuser used code to avoid detection

A PREDATOR who abused a vulnerable teenage girl has been locked up.

Richard Wiseman would talk to his victim in code when referring to sexual acts in a bid to avoid detection.

But Chester Crown Court heard the 38-year-old’s depraved acts came to light when the girl contacted police to say she was being groomed.

Officers spoke to the victim who disclosed that Wiseman had been sexually abusing her over a seven-month period.

The defendant, of no fixed address in the Crewe area, was swiftly arrested but denied all offences put to him during interview.

However, following telecoms enquiries, officers recovered evidence from his mobile phone that showed he had sent multiple inappropriate messages to the victim.
