THE South Cheshire Branch George Formby Society is staging an evening of entertainment, food and musical joy on Friday, June 27 at Wistaston Memorial Hall.
Step back in time and rediscover the magic of one of Britain’s most cherished entertainers - George Formby - famous for his cheeky charm, infectious humour and ukulele tunes that lit up stages and hearts throughout the 1930s and 1940s.
The evening begins at 5.15pm with a one-man show from Jonathan Baddeley, vice president of The George Formby Society.
