College staff set to go on strike

STAFF at Cheshire College South and West are to go on strike over a pay dispute with the college.
Staff will take industrial action for four days over July and August, the University and College Union (UCU) has announced.
A total of 79 per cent of UCU members who voted backed strike action in a ballot that had a turnout of 58 per cent.
Staff across the three campuses in Crewe, Ellesmere Port and Chester will down tools on Monday, July 7 and again on August 21, 22 and 26, with pickets at the Crewe campus from 8am to 11am on each day.
