Classic Bard takes to the stage

NANTWICH Players will present The Tempest by William Shakespeare, one of the Bard's final and most enchanting works, later this month.

This bold and imaginative production, directed by Garth Jones, runs from Friday, June 27 to Saturday, July 5, with performances starting at 7.45pm.

This is vintage Shakespeare, where old enmities are confronted, new romances blossom and comic and serious plots intertwine.

Set on a South Pacific island that Shakespeare had never seen but vividly imagined, the play features mythical creatures, music and dance, reflecting the spirit of exploration of the time.

The Tempest is a captivating blend of drama, comedy, and fantasy - perfect for both Shakespeare lovers and newcomers alike.
