Festive preparations were in full swing at Crandon Springs Care Home in Wells, where residents and staff cooked up a storm creating this year's Christmas cake, and flexed their green fingers to design fabulous Christmas floral displays.

Every year, Crandon Springs Care Home, part of Barchester Healthcare, embraces the much-loved tradition of making and decorating the Christmas cake. Led by Head Chef, Simon, residents kicked off the festive season on Stir-Up Sunday, with everyone taking a turn to stir the rich fruit cake mixture. The Crandon Springs Activities team then joined the fun, working with residents to roll out the icing, craft edible decorations, and bring everything together to create lovely festive cake topped with a cute little Santa.
