AC MOOSE, the Division Three champions, completed a league and cup double in only their second season.
In an entertaining Norman Goulding Cup final, they beat Stoke Gifford United A 2-1 at Cossham Street. They led 2-0 at half-time before a spirited fightback from Gifford nearly found an equaliser.
Three second-half goals gave Broad Plain House a 4-1 home win over Old Cothamians. If they win their last game, against promotion rivals Redbridge at Somerdale on Saturday, they will be champions. Josh Mitchell scored the Old Cothamians goal.
Any slip up will let in second-placed Southmead CS Athletic, who played their last game against Stoke Gifford United Reserves last night.
Early-season leaders Wessex Wanderers kept up the pressure on the leaders but they were twice behind as they came back to beat Jamaica Bell 3-2.
Theo Portch scored the first equaliser with substitutes Jordon Evans and Sam Glasson scoring in the second half to clinch the points.
