'IT'S A BIG HONOUR'

THE outgoing leader of the Red Arrows has described putting on a stunning show at Cleethorpes' National Armed Forces Day as a “big honour”.

Graeme Muscat, also known as Red 10, is now in his final season with the legendary display team and will leave in October this year.

The Red Arrows Squadron leader, who is originally from Cheshire, joined the RAF in 1995 as a communications system analyst before working his way up to being a member of the iconic aerobatics team.

The Red Arrows were one of the key highlights of this year's National Armed Forces event with the tens of thousands of visitors to the resort treated to a spectacular and daring display.
