PLANS to relocate a listed monument have been given the green light.
Members of Boston Borough Council's planning committee gave listed building consent for the historic Five Lamps landmark to be moved from its current location on Liquorpond Street to the public realm area near Rosegarth Street, close to the town centre.
The grade II listed structure was built in 1927 to replace the bulkier mid-19th century lamp standard, which was known as the Five Lamps.
