BWFAC runners are rewarded for their best guesses

Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde AC's annual Christmas Predictor Race took place last Sunday, when runners had to estimate their time for a lap of the track and Stanley Park.

With no watches or other timing devices allowed, the winners were those performances were closest to their predicted times.

Congratulations went to Sophia Leonard, Malc Beech, Austin Hursahye and Saraya Plenderleith. Leonard posted a time of 16:16, nine seconds away from her prediction, while Beech's 26:00 was only 10 seconds out.
