Darts Diary

- By ALAN TOWE

THIS weekend, Warwickshire play their third fixture in the Premier Division of the UKDA National League and, coming off the back of a narrow 19-17 home defeat to Lancashire, they will be hoping to return to winning ways in what will be an away game against Lincolnshire.

However, a win will not be an easy task as for the four UKDA seasons so far Warwickshire have lost to Lin-colnshire, hopefully this weekend they will break that unwanted run. Warwickshire’s latest defeat saw them drop from pole position to fourth on 45 points, six short of new leaders Suffolk.

Lining up for Warwickshire will be, Men’s ‘A’: Danny Lauby, Dom Taylor, Gareth Braham, Jack Ware-ing, Jamie Hughes, Martin Tonks, Matty Washbrooke, Noel Grant, Nigel Heydon, Ian McFarlane, Steve Hine, Wayne Mynard, Men’s ‘B’: Adam Hancock, Inr Joyce, Dave Hill, Karl Reynolds, Lee Miller, Paul Har-bourne, Mark Carter, Mark Strong, Lloyd Jackson, Taylor, McGuckian, Will Naylor, Zac Prince, Reserves: Ryan Jackson, Carl Winters, Ian Shaw, Mark Martin, Jason Prince, Mark Faulkner, Women’s ‘A’: Marian Conway, Wendy Adams, Natalie Gilbert, Courtney Hine, Hannah Meek, Kirsty Hinchliffe, Women’s ‘B’: Nina Bolt, Macey Gibbons, Kacie O'Connor, Caroline Pike, Donna Pinch, Jodie Rigg, Reserves: Clare Greenwood, Kristeen Meek, Denise Keyte.

In the Andy Wheeler Fisheries Championship Division, West Midlands hope to make three consecutive wins when they play hosts to Humberside. Going into the fixture West Midlands are placed second in the table with 46 points while their opponents are sixth with 39 points. A win for the Midlanders could see them top on Sunday night as current leaders Cheshire have a bye this weekend.
