ANOTHER BRUM ICON WILL TAKE CENTRE STAGE AFTER OZZY’S VILLA GIG

- ZOE CHAMBERLAIN News Reporter

Bulls ring the changes at new art trail in city

A NEW art trail is coming to Birmingham for summer 2025 - and this year’s theme is the city’s iconic bull.

The Commonwealth Games’ ‘raging bull’ was renamed Ozzy by public vote and it seems fitting that this trail will be launching soon after Ozzy Osbourne returns to his hometown for a huge Black Sabbath gig in July.

The trail will feature a stampede of 40 bull sculptures which will be dotted around key landmarks in the city.

Remember the owls, snowmen, bears and reindeers of previous years? This is the latest event from Wild in Art, but this time it feels more poignant as it's centred around the beloved bull.

It’s all in aid of Birmingham Hospice and is sponsored by the University of Birmingham to help mark the institution's 125th anniversary.
