Stanley players were on ball for amazing event

ACCRINGTON Stanley supporters had several opportunities to meet players from Accrington Stanley and Accrington Stanley Women as part of the #Amazing Accrington Christmas Lights Switch On.

Players from both clubs are due to appear on the main stage on Thursday at 4.50pm, where they were to take part in interviews with event host and lifelong Stanley fan Stephen Lowe.
During this segment, the four winners of the Accrington Stanley Christmas Card competition were due to receive their printed cards and a Christmas hamper, before the players took part in a football giveaway, kicking footballs into the crowd.
A further opportunity to meet the players was due to follow at approximately 5.15pm, with a meet and greet session inside the Official Accrington Stanley Supporters Trust shop in the Arndale.
