Tributes paid after death of ‘genuine soul’ George

FRIENDS and family have paid tribute to a “genuine soul” following his sudden death at his home in Altham at the age of 44.

George Andrew Wallis, who previously lived in Prescot, died on November 22 this year.

The 44-year-old, a former care worker, has been described as the “adored son of Carl and Jane and stepson of Eric, loving and loved brother of Nicola, Carl, Louise and the late Ian, treasured and doting uncle to Evie, Tate, Mia, Tillie, Wallis, Lawrence and Dharma, great-uncle to Ivy and also a respected relative and good friend to many”.
