Police commissioner celebrates work of boxing club

LANCASHIRE'S Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw has visited a sports club to celebrate the work it does and view the premiere of a new documentary about its efforts.

He was joined by his newly-appointed deputy and senior Hyndburn councillor Kimberley Whitehead at Clayton Amateur Boxing Club to see how funding from his office has made a positive impact on the community.

The event showcased the achievements made possible through its Box Champion Programme and included the first showing of a YouTube film about its work.
