New operator takes over garden centre

A GARDEN centre has been acquired by a new operator.

Specialist business property adviser Christie and Co has announced the sale of a new lease for Nursery End Garden Centre in Clayton-le-Moors.
The three-acre site was originally purchased as a piece of land more than 35 years ago by Mr and Mrs Ainsworth, who saw an opportunity to develop it into a nursery and garden centre.
The business has since built up an excellent reputation for selling high-quality plants, in particular hybridising fuchsias which are sold through mail order and on-site.
