Heritage plan will shape strategy for 5 years

A NEW Culture and Heritage Strategy that sets out an ambitious plan for how culture, creativity and heritage will shape the borough's future over the next five years has been approved by Hyndburn Council.

The plan has been developed by the Culture and Heritage Investment Panel, with input from residents, artists, organisations and national funders.

It celebrates everything that makes Hyndburn distinctive and recognises the borough’s industrial roots, strong communities and rich cultural talent.

The strategy focuses on three big ideas.
