The state of Chattisgarh is in celebratory mode celebrating its own history, culture, people and achievements.

Celebrating Chattisgarh

Recently, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel carried out the Maha-aarti of Kelo Maiyya in Raigarh with devotion, praying for the happiness and prosperity of the state and its people. He also paid obeisance to the symbolic significance of prosperity or ‘Godhan’ by feeding fodder to a cow. The ‘deepdan’ was also done using a diya(lamp) made from cow dung. But the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the Mahaaarti with the chants of Kelo Maiyya echoing through the entire ghat, creating a deeply spiritual and intense atmosphere.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel was warmly welcomed by the Kelo Udhar Samiti and the members of Sarva Samaj at the Kelo Maha-aarti programme. The presence of Culture Minister Amarjit Bhagat, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Higher Education Minister Umesh Patel, MLA Chakradhar Singh, Rajeshree Mahant, Dr. Ramsudar Das, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Gauseva Aayog, and various other public representatives added to the grace of the occasion.
