When the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) first launched the 20 Under 45 programme in 2004, it set out to identify the young architectural talents poised to shape Singapore's urban narrative.
This year, the programme returns in its fourth edition, after a break of nine years, with renewed purpose.
The latest cohort recognises 23 Singapore-based registered architects, expanding beyond the customary 20 to acknowledge the exceptional challenges that the profession encountered during the Covid-19 pandemic.
