ROBSON GREEN embarks on an epic adventure along awe-inspiring trials

It's no secret that Robson Green loves spending time in the great outdoors - and now he has the world at his feet in his new travelogue series for U&Yesterday.

Across eight episodes, World's Most Amazing Walks will see the Grantchester actor lacing up his walking boots to explore some of the most beautiful treks our planet has to offer, from Portugal's Douro Valley to the Trail of the Eagles' Nests in Poland.

However, his first adventure is a little closer to home as the Northumberland-born star explores the delights of the 84-mile Hadrian's Wall Path from Tyne and Wear to Cumbria.

Here, Robson, 60, talks us through his itinerary...

What inspired you to make this series?

I wanted to be embraced by some of the world's most astonishing scenery, and meet larger-than-life characters with a definite sense of belonging and identity. And who isn't going to say 'yes' when they're offered a show called World's Most Amazing Walks?
