NATALIE QUARRY and ZEPHRYN TAITTE share the secrets of Rosalind and Cyril's wedding day

Over the past two series of BBC1 period drama Call the Midwife, fans have loved watching romance blossom between effervescent nurse Rosalind Clifford and steadfast pastor and social worker Cyril Robinson.

But it hasn't been plain sailing for kindhearted Rosalind (played by Natalie Quarry) and Cyril (Zephryn Taitte), as the couple have experienced prejudice due to their interracial relationship, while Rosalind's pregnancy has thrown them another curveball.

Now that Cyril's divorce from former Nonnatus House midwife Lucille (Leonie Elliott) is through, however, his and Rosalind's wedding plans have quickly got under way, and in this week's Season 15 finale, set in November 1971, they tie the knot at a register office.

Here, in an exclusive chat, Natalie, who joined the cast in 2024, and Zephryn, who first appeared in 2019, tell TV Times about the nuptials...

If anyone deserves a wonderful wedding, it's Rosalind and Cyril! How are they feeling about their big day?

NATALIE Rosalind's so happy. It's been a whirlwind but they love each other. I'm rooting for them and I think viewers are, too!

ZEPHRYN Cyril was grappling with his failed marriage, so this love has been unexpected, but it's nice that he's moved on. They've had challenges but it's made them closer.
