CATHERINE TYLDESLEY on coming back to Weatherfield as the new face of the Rovers Return

Catherine Tyldesley became a household name when she joined the cast of Coronation Street in 2011, playing high-maintenance barmaid Eva Price until her departure from the ITV soap in 2018.

Now, the actor is excited to be heading back to the cobbles, especially as her fan-favourite character is the Rovers Return's new landlady.

On top of that, Eva has a family in tow: partner Ben Driscoll (Hope Street's Aaron McCusker) and his mother Maggie (former EastEnders star Pauline McLynn), along with Ben's sons Ollie (Raphael Akuwudike) and Will (Lucas Hodgson-Wale). And of course, there's also seven-year-old Susie (Aurora Bradshaw), her daughter with the late Aidan Connor (who was played by Shayne Ward, Catherine's costar on The Good Ship Murder).
