Christmas is just around the corner, and two ladies who are full of seasonal spirit are soap favourites Sue Devaney and Natalie J Robb. After donning their sparkliest attire for our exclusive photo shoot, Sue, 58, AKA Coronation Street's Debbie Webster, and Natalie, who turns 51 on 3 December and plays Emmerdale's Moira Dingle, join TV Times for a chat about the magical times ahead for them, on- and off-screen...

You both look super-glam. Have you enjoyed getting dressed up?

NATALIE It's been lovely, and I have a top on from Reiss that I now want to buy for myself - it's so gorgeous. It's a nice change - Moira's normally in her farming overalls!

SUE The green dress I'm wearing is actually one of Debbie's. It's more Debbie than Sue, but don't get me wrong, I do love a few sequins every now and again.

What are the ingredients for a great Christmas party?

NATALIE Good company, good food and some good red wine - I'm partial to a bit of Malbec. And some good music. The Mariah Carey song All I Want for Christmas Is You always gets me up dancing.

SUE It's all about the people and the music... not too loud, though! I like Jingle Bell Rock by Bobby Helms and the Elvis Presley song Santa Bring My Baby Back (to Me). I haven't drank for about 17 years, but I love a cup of tea. Stick me on a sofa with a log fire and a cup of tea and I'm very happy.
