The City of Joy came alight on November 30, 2025, with the prestigious JAC OLIVOL Femina Achievers Awards: West Bengal edition taking place for the second time in Kolkata. Held at ITC Royal Bengal, the evening was all things glam and glitz, with the who's who of Tollywood and the music industry, as well as several illustrious dignitaries present. Most of all, our achievers shone bright – after all, they were the ones being celebrated! The event started with Femina's Managing Editor Primrose Monteiro-D'Souza welcoming all, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Present on stage for the inaugural ceremony were Madhu Neotia, Advisor - Ambuja Neotia Group’s Hospitality & Healthcare Ventures; Rajarshi Das, Managing Director - JAC OLIVOL GROUP; actor Yash Daasguptaa; Marc Boudin, Director — Alliance Française du Bengale; Ammaor Sanganeria, Founder & CEO, Packman - Bespoke Home Furnishings; Kevin Goh, Deputy Director, Australian Consulate — General Kolkata; Major General (Retd) VN Chaturvedi, Secretary General ~ Vidya Mandir Society; Joydeep Sah, Co-Founder & Chairman ~ Morning Bells Academy High School, Shyamnagar; K Sunil Kumar, General Manager - Corporate Communications & PR, JIS Group; and Rekha Pandey, Femina Miss India 2024 — Ist Runner-up.

Next followed the felicitations, where women from all fields were recognised for their outstanding achievements and contributions. Among the winners were actors Nussrat Jahan, Anuradha Mukherjee, Mimi Chakraborty, Monami Ghosh and Tanika Basu; singers Lagnajita Chakraborty, Prashmita Paul, and Sanchita Bhattacharya, and many more.
