For Thangamalar Jaganath, Partner at Vasanth & Co., the journey into the world of retail began in childhood, when she would sit beside her father, the late H. Vasanthakumar, at the store while he worked. “I must've been very young, but the feeling stayed with me,” she recalls.

“He involved me in little things like billing, checking cash, and being punctual. It sparked something in me.”
